“I enjoy the challenge of taking problems that appear complex and simplifying them to create buildable, sustainable and cost-effective solutions.”

Mike is a dedicated and self-motivated engineer. His easy-going nature and ability to problem solve in a calm manner whilst under pressure makes him an invaluable member of the team.

He takes great satisfaction from seeing the tangible result of his work being built. Mike’s role is a client-facing one and he manages a team of engineers to deliver good value, buildable solutions for our clients.

Earlier in his career he established a solid foundation in structural engineering, gaining experience in domestic buildings, new-build-concrete-frames and refurbishment, including a Grade II listed building. Mike then took the lead on Embassy Gardens Phase 2, gaining valuable experience in mixed-use residential-led schemes.

Mike also has experience in specialist residential sectors including student accommodation and build-to-rent as well as gaining third-party approvals for building over tunnels, sewers and national grid assets as well as working with the environment agency on developments adjacent to river walls.
