Accreditation Achieved: Walsh’s Net-Zero Targets Recognised by SBTi

We are proud to announce that our net-zero targets have received accreditation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This achievement marks a significant step in our sustainability journey.

Our accredited commitment encompasses Scope 1-3 emissions, and we have also established targets related to our design practices that extend beyond Scope 3, aligning with our clients’ climate objectives.

A special thank you to our dedicated team and to our Head of Environment & Sustainability Dr Marianne Brett for their instrumental role in driving this positive change. Moving forward, we’ll continue to innovate and lead toward a more sustainable future.

Taking Sustainability Seriously

Sustainability is in our DNA and we have our own ambitious goals to achieve Net Zero as a business and with our designs. With innovative in-house monitoring tools, Walsh clients have seen on average reductions of 10-20% total embodied carbon, with some of our flagship work achieving 60-70% reductions compared with baseline figures.
