Our Award-Winning 9 Millbank Project Featured in Concrete Magazine

Our Director Ben Ransom was featured March’s issue of Concrete Magazine, shedding light on our award-winning project, 9 Millbank.

The focal point of the article was our concrete reuse in sub & superstructures to repurpose commercial buildings for residential usage. Walsh devised strategies to mitigate loads, avoid extensive strengthening works, and meet contemporary safety standards —all while preserving the existing concrete framework. By showcasing the transformative potential of reuse strategies, Ben underscores the importance of embracing sustainable practices. Through advanced techniques and tailored interventions, we achieved exceptional results that have been recognised at the Structural Awards for the significant cost, programme and sustainability savings to the client.

Ben’s insights serve as a testament to our dedication to push for innovative reuse strategies for our clients.
