Double Success at the Modern Methods of Construction Awards 2025!

It was a great day for Walsh at the MMC Awards 2025, with two of our projects recognised for excellence.

Urbanest Battersea Winner of Project of the Year (Commercial/Retail/Offices/Leisure)

A major PBSA development featuring an 11-storey mixed-use building with premium office spaces, key achievements include:

  • Integration of Mace’s Low-Carbon Cassette (LCC) system across 92% of the building.
  • Programme delivery accelerated by 27%.
  • 9% reduction in embodied carbon.
  • Reusable precast design supporting circular economy principles.
  • High-specification office spaces above a ground-floor pub, maximising mixed-use value.
  • Effective collaboration and innovation within constrained urban site conditions.

Congratulations go to our partners Urbanest, Mace, AHMM and Cast Consultancy.

The judges praised the project’s low-carbon credentials, reusable design supporting circular economy principles, interesting location, and impressive visual impact.
