Technical Director at Berkeley St Edwards Presents Second ‘Senior Women in Construction’ Talk

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Rebecca McArthur, Technical Director at Berkeley St Edward, to the Walsh office. This was our second ‘Senior Women in Construction’ session, where we have invited presenters from other organisations to share their career and DE&I journey. Rebecca is the company’s lead on diversity and allyship and was sharing her story from consultant to on-site project management and the experiences she’s had along the way.

It was great to hear how much progress Berkeley St Edward has made with their Diversity & Inclusion policies and procedures. Furthermore, getting an insight into her impressive (and sometimes challenging) career journey as a woman in the construction industry and the intricacies of her role.

Rebecca’s views, regarding how to move forward in fostering support networks for positive and steady change, were thoughtful and illuminating.

Thank you to Rebecca for taking the time to share her thoughts and experiences with us. Berkeley St Edward is a client that we have a long-standing positive collaboration with so it’s great to see how we are aligned in providing an inclusive, diverse and happy workplace.
