Walsh and our very own Peyrouz Modarres was featured in The Sunday Times on 18th December talking about Climate Action alongside brands like BT, Legal & General, Veolia and Cumming Group.

In the wake of COP27, leading players in the construction industry are under even more pressure to achieve net zero on their developments, so we were delighted to share our thoughts with The Sunday Times on how smart engineering can make this a reality.  We’ve measured the embodied carbon output on over 150 projects already and been able to share best practice with our clients which reduces the embodied carbon on their projects by an average of 10-20%.

Taking Sustainability Seriously

Sustainability is in our DNA and we have our own ambitious goals to achieve Net Zero as a business and with our designs. With innovative in-house monitoring tools, Walsh clients have seen on average reductions of 10-20% total embodied carbon, with some of our flagship work achieving 60-70% reductions compared with baseline figures.
