Oaklands Rise Awarded Finalist Status At The Planning Awards 2022

We are pleased to announce that the Oaklands Rise project has been awarded finalist status in the category of ‘Best Use of Brownfield Land’ at the Planning Awards 2022.

The £175m regeneration scheme sees the Championship football club QPR FC form a joint venture with Notting Hill Genesis to build 605 new homes, 40 per cent of which are affordable – located in the Hammersmith & Fulham borough of London.

Features of the development include a nursery, health centre, shared workspace offices, shops, cafes; and a community centre.

Our team provided Civil and Structural engineering services from early RIBA Stage 1 to 6; including providing support to obtain approval in principle from various 3rd parties – providing an innovative foundation solution that overcame several constraints including allowance for a future HS2 tunnel running beneath the development.

Congratulations to all involved!
