We are pleased to announce that our Embodied Carbon Assessment Tool has been awarded the Green Apple National Silver Environment Award by The Green Organisation.
We competed against more than 800 other nominations to win this prestigious award, which we proudly accepted at a glittering presentation ceremony hosted by Liz Kendall MP at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in London on November 15th 2021.
Judges commented: “Walsh succeeded in significantly reducing the amount of materials used on their projects through using their E.C.A.T calculator, which reduces the embodied carbon of their projects, lowering the company’s environmental impact as a whole”.
The Green Apple Awards began in 1994, supported by the Environmental Agency and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, & has become established as giving major recognition for outstanding environmental endeavours among companies, councils, communities and countries.
